Legal Tech NZ joins the Global Legal Tech Report research initiative
Legal Tech NZ has joined the Global Legal Tech Report research initiative, joining forces with legal tech associations from around the world and industry leading research partners to undertake the world’s first and most comprehensive study into the legal tech industry and the people behind the businesses.
This first-of-its-kind project is designed to help law firms, legal tech businesses, investors and other relevant parties comprehensively understand the booming legal tech sector.
LegalTech NZ is a forum for people with a shared interest in improving the use of technology in New Zealand’s legal sector. LegalTech NZ seeks to facilitate legal innovation and the adoption of legal technology by providing a forum for engagement, education, events, research, and other activities.
“Our vision is for a thriving New Zealand legal sector which understands and applies technology to improve the efficiency of and access to legal services in New Zealand,” Legal Tech NZ Chair, Ben Winslade said.
“To this end, we were delighted to lend our support to this important initiative,” he said.
“We are delighted to welcome ALITA to the project. Their involvement help us engage with local legal tech companies and deliver compelling insights into the health and composition of the NZ legal tech sector,” Stevie Ghiassi, Project Director, ALTA Board member and CEO of Legaler said.
The New Zealand report will be launched at ALTACON, the leading legal + tech conference in the Southern Hemisphere, that will be run as a virtual event on 28 and 29 May 2020.
The New Zealand Report can be pre-ordered now, saving 20% on the list price of $US399.
The Global Legal Tech Report is a joint project led by the leading legal innovation consultancy, Alpha Creates, and ALTA, the Australian Legal Technology Association.
This project would not be made possible without the support of major research partners, KPMG, Macquarie and the Law Society.
“Their support through funding, resources and access to their networks have enabled us to bring this project to life. What started as a simple idea is now a world-class research study and we are incredibly grateful for their contributions,” Stevie Ghiassi said.
