The personal information Alpha Creates collect for the research

The types of personal information that Alpha Creates may collect about you directly through the research include:

• your name
• your contact details, including email address, mailing address, street address and/or telephone number
• your age and/or date of birth
• your preferences and/or opinions
• information you provide to us through customer surveys
• additional personal information that you provide to us, directly or indirectly, through your participation in our study
• Your information will be kept anonymous or a pseudonym will be used.

Alpha Creates may also collect sensitive information from you. Sensitive information will only be collected with your prior consent, and only if it is directly related to, or reasonably necessary for the research conducted.

At times we receive customer data with personal information from our clients or marketing list providers for research purposes. Under these circumstances, Alpha Creates will take steps to ensure that the information provided to us is done so in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Alpha Creates also take reasonable steps to ensure respondents are aware of the client organisation and the source of their contact details. In some cases, this information is withheld during the initial contact as the knowledge of the client organisation and/or source of your contact details may bias your responses to some survey questions. In this case, we will reveal the client organisation upon your request for the source of your contact details.

Who will Alpha Creates disclose your information to?

Alpha Creates will not disclose any personally identifiable research information collected from you unless your express prior consent is provided. Alpha Creates will not disclose any personal information or personally identifiable research information to a third party for any purpose other than conducting our research unless we have your express prior consent or are required to do so by an Australian law or court/tribunal order.

In the course of conducting Alpha Creates’ research we may rely on third party service providers who are located overseas to host or store the personal information collected. In circumstances where Alpha Creates is required by law to retain respondent’s personal information after our research has been completed, your personal information will continue to be protected in accordance with this privacy policy. If we destroy personal information we will do so by taking reasonable steps and using up-to-date techniques and processes.
