The launch of the 2021/22 Global Legal Tech Report
The Australian Legal Technology Association (ALTA) and its project partners iManage, The Law Society, Alpha Creates and Toro Digital are delighted to be launching the second Global Legal Tech Report.
The Report, which is now in its second edition, is the world’s first and most comprehensive study into the legal tech industry and the people behind the businesses.
Following the inaugural Report, Project Director Stevie Ghiassi commented that “for the first time we were able to reveal data and insights to help guide the decision making of every stakeholder across the entire legal industry, from the builders of legal tech to its users, as well as those that are helping to fund and implement it.”
The release of the second edition will further help in “informing the next generation of changemakers,” Ghiassi said.
The Report takes a magnifying glass to the world’s legal tech industry, looking closely at the underlying technologies used by legal tech companies, their team make-up, as well as their revenue, costs and funding outlook. This edition of the report also looks closely at the gender balance within the legal tech community.
Other areas of analysis include:
- What type of legal tech companies are there and who are they serving?
- What type of people have founded legal tech companies and what sort of roles do they recruit for?
- Which programming languages and cloud services are legal tech companies around the world using?
- Which revenue models are legal tech companies using and why?
- Have legal tech companies used investors to grow their business and if so, how did they raise funds?
- What are legal tech companies’ largest costs and where are they looking to invest?
To launch the second Report, following the culmination of nearly 6 months of extensive research across all corners of the globe, interested parties are welcomed to join either of two webinars which will discuss the key trends and emerging themes uncovered during the far-reaching research.
Given the global audience, attendees have the choice of attending two webinars - both will cover the same content and findings (just different options for dates/times to include as many as possible).
